Even prior to accreditation deadline our press office records unprecedented media interest. More than 200 national and international media representatives have submitted their accreditation request. Besides the two live reports on Motors TV and EUROSPORT HD at least 6 more channels including Bulgarian state television will cover the event.

Even from South America, there is considerable interest in perhaps the first title win in the FMX for a South American.

After the event, pictures and interviews are available on our media server for further use. Please contact our media manager Oliver Franke on [email protected] to request your login.

Javier had this to say about his plans. "I have been working hard all year to be fully prepared for this weekend. I want the FIM World title and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get it. I feel ready in every way so I'm going in confident and not holding anything back."

All eyes will be on Javier as he is set to take the world title in his rookie attempt. You can watch the contest livestream thru the Night of The Jumps website www.NightOfTheJumps.com

XPilots This past weekend was the final round of the 2011 X Pilots series in Mexico City, Mexico. The elevation in Mexico City is high, over 7000 feet, so the bikes are tough to get running right. I got some jetting specs from a mechanic friend and got my bike going as good as it was going to be. Show time arrived and I made the decision that I couldn't let the things I can't do interfere with the things I can do. I went in to the course attacking it with all I had and the crowd responses were just what I like to hear, loud and out of control. I won the event over some great riders like Bilko Williams, Dany Torres, James Carter and other top riders so I was completely satisfied. I want to say thank you to Geraldo Salaman for inviting me to compete in the 2011 X Pilots season.
